Bret Pettichord and Brian Marick define 4 practices for Agile Testing:

* Conversational Test Creation

* Coaching Tests

* Providing Test Interfaces

* Exploratory Learning

Providing Test Interfaces would be a joint effort with the programmers; they would provide the fixtures and interfaces and the testers would provide the test cases as input to these. Not all testing practices are performed by the dedicated testers. (Thanks to David Evans for this good point). - LC
