XpNlComplaints

Complaints with recommendations deals with frustrations and conflicts. Frustrations bother us, we find them irritating, we don?t like them. Each frustration hides a real problem and also contains clues on what would make things better (obviously the frustrated person has studied the problem and has come up with some ideas on a better state of affairs and has not found a way to make that happen, which is exactly why it was frustrating!!). Meaning, frustrations are solutions in disguise!

As an example:

Team Member: The process is overloaded with producing non-necessary stuff, whatever it claims or was originally intended to be used for, but we had to do it ?to be ISO9000 compliant?. We were doomed from the start ... for meeting the delivery dates with good quality, due to lack of time.

Facilitator: Okay, what do you suggest we did not need to do in the process as we used it, or that could have been done differently, that would have helped you speed things up? Or is this about us not being able to adapt our process to our needs? ...

The XpNlEventTimeLine provided a definite winner (with a score of 7!) and even though it was indicated the problem was solved, it may be worth spending some time on. The three and four dotted categories also look very appetizing to me ... Nynke
